and the best part is the staff! amazing nice people who just want to help you fix everything you need!
the hotel don't serve breakfast but there are few very good places to eat super close! in the front desk they will help you with everything!

We spent our honeymoon here and I did not want to leave! The sound of the ocean waves right outside of our room and the beautiful deck overlooking the gorgeous pool. So relaxing! Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Great shower. Very easy to walk to a ton of great and cheap restaurants including the churro cart and amazing taco cart, short walk to the beach and beach clubs (although we preferred the peace and quiet of staying at the hotel itself) and even walking distance to the ferry too. No need to spend money on cabs if you stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our AC broke and they fixed it immediately. Got a great affordable massage too.

We stayed for 3 nights in July in one of the ocean view rooms. The setting of the grounds on the beach side is beautiful - we could not get enough of the view! I'm usually pretty low maintenance but we did have a few questions for the hotel ahead of time and they were answered promptly. I would recommend booking golf carts via the hotel since they deliver it - and the cost was the same, if not cheaper than booking directly through a provider. When we visited it was hot hot hot and the hotel provided a much needed refuge. If we did have more time on the island, we may have opted to stay on the south side in a b&b for a few days as well but Hotel Secreto is the best choice on the north side, by far. We were a little bit disappointed with some pool deck maintenance when we arrived but this was resolved professionally and quickly. The hotel tried its best to update its infrastructure, while keeping facilities open for the guests. The king room we stayed in was HUGE, and the balcony itself is the size of a regular hotel room with a king sized lounger and a dining table. Sadly our trip was short so we didn't get to enjoy the spacious suite so I would recommend guests plan to enjoy the facilities during their stay!

I was torn about leaving this review. Part of me wants to keep this place a secret so it stays special. But another part of me knows they if they don't get business, they will not stay in business. And, let's face it, service this good deserves a review! After finding our hotel, we were greeted by a friendly staff who helped us with our luggage. We checked in and were shown to our room on the first floor. The room was HUGE and cold! This hotel room could be a condo, with a king bed, couch, and full size kitchen. While we didn't plan to prepare any meals ourselves, we certainly had everything we needed if we wanted to. This was just the beginning. Opening our patio revealed a beautiful deck and infinity pool that looked out into the ocean with breathtaking views. We were only steps away. The concierge helped us rent a golf cart and it was delivered within 10 minutes. The rooms were cleaned each day and were well taken care of. The bed was super comfortable, and did I mention that the A/C was cold? At the end of our trip, the staff made arrangements to meet us at the ferry so that we could leave our golf cart with them there instead of the hotel, which made it super easy to get our luggage to the ferry. 10/10 not only would we stay here again, but we WILL stay here again.

The name of this hotel is definitely accurate. It is tucked away from the noise of the Isla. The rooms and bathrooms were big and comfortable. The staff was friendly and we're so helpful in booking us an incredible snorkeling trip. The pool, although we didn't get to use it just due to our tight schedule, was gorgeous and I would def. Spend some time there next time. I would also recommend spending the extra money for pool side ocean view. It would def. Be worth the money. Would absolutely stay here again!
